While we we up on the deck taking pictures of my birthday quilt, I had Dad take a picture of the first quilt that I quilted on my new frame - called "Carson's Courtyard". This top of this super easy and fast-to-make twin sized quilt is made entirely from fat quarters (the scrappy binding is made from the leftover strips of the fat quarters). I still need to write the pattern for this one as I will be teaching it at Taylor Sewing Centre in the fall.
