Konfetti and Tutti thread on QUILTsocial

This weekend I spent most of my time madly sewing a sample of our new pattern "Coral Beach" so that it could be photographed and shipped to Houston for Quilt Market! Although I am sad that I'm not going with it, Nellie and I are super happy that it will be shown in Northcott's booth. It was nice to sit and sew for an extended length of time as I feel like I haven't done any quilting all summer!

Another New Pattern!!

Here is the second new pattern that I am releasing this month - called "It's A

Spring Thing". Many thanks to my friend Liz Healy who came up with the winning name in my Facebook contest last month. She won a pattern of her choice from Fairfield Road Designs.

New pattern!!!

Now that things have gotten back to "normal" around here, after Christmas and a wonderful vacation in Florida, I have finally had a chance to finish up a few new patterns. Here is the first one "Cornerstones". You only need one jelly roll or "Stone strips" set to make the centre and pieced border and two other fabrics for the inner border/binding and outer border. Many thanks to my friend Darlene Nelson for testing the pattern for me. I will be teaching this pattern at Taylor Sewing Centre on February 13 & March 5 9:30-12:30. Full Bloom

Here is our new pattern called "Full Bloom" in which we used the Emma line of fabrics from Northcott. It uses two different blocks and the large flowers are done using fusible applique. Even though this design is only a wall hanging size, we think it would be lovely made as a large quilt too. The pattern is available in quilt shops or on our website:

Country Rose Garden
